Our Policy:

In order to maintain a consistent level of service and accommodate all of our clients,

Evergreen Hair & Beauty have established the following cancellation policy:

Changes to Bookings:

In the event you need to adjust, move or cancel your appointment, we will require 24 hour notice. Cancellations or moved appointments made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will incur a 50% charge. This fee can be paid over the telephone or in person at the salon. Evergreen Reserves the right to enforce this payment, and if not received within 4 days of the scheduled appointment, any future bookings will require full payment upfront, along with the additional 50% fee.

No-show Appointments:​

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice or cancellation is referred to as a “no-show”. This can disrupt the salon’s employees schedule and other clients who may have wanted that time slot. This will incur a full 100% charge of the scheduled service before a new appointment can be confirmed.​

 

Deposits:

Appointments that are longer than 3 hours, Technical Colour or any Advanced Beauty Treatments will require a deposit of 25%

(non - refundable) upon booking or before booking can be confirmed.

This can be paid either within the salon or over the phone and will be transferable if the appointment is adjusted, rescheduled or cancelled before a 48 hour period.

Online Bookings:

Whilst we do not enforce any online deposit charges due to our commitments to making online booking convenient and accessible.

We ask that customers new and existing to please respect our policy for this reason. To cancel or reschedule an appointment via our online booking system, please ensure that you do so 48 hours in advance.

All cancellations or no-show charges apply the same for online bookings.

Confirmation and Emails:

We ask all clients provide Evergreen will their personal email address. This is to receive our salon updates, availability, offers and booking information. Any bookings made, rescheduled or cancelled an email will be sent. A reminder will be sent 48 hours prior to the appointment. If you do not receive an email, please check Junk/ Spam folder or contact Evergreen.

 

Inside the Salon:

  • Smoking and vaping is not permitted inside the salon.

  • Dogs are not permitted into the salon whilst a client is having a service. Assistance dogs are permitted. Please advise us in advance if you will be accompanied by an assistance dog.

  • Evergreen welcomes babies and children to the salon. We ask that parents supervise their children closely, ensuring they remain seated quietly with snacks and entertainment. Please do not allow children to run around, touch sharp or professional equipment or use furniture as toys. Due to limited seating, we advise against bringing the entire family when only one member has an appointment. Evergreen is not liable for any injury sustained to unsupervised children.

  • Evergreen uses professional-grade hair and beauty products and does not permit the use of any products brought in by clients to ensure safety, quality and adherence to health regulations.

 

Gift Cards/ Vouchers:

Gift cards/ Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase and can be redeemed against any treatments or retail products. The Valid date is displayed on Gift Card/ Voucher and is also linked to Evergreen’s sale System. If a purchased treatment cannot be redeemed due to service discontinuation, staff unavailability or other unforeseen circumstances,

an alternative treatment of equal or similar value will be offered.

Gift cards cannot be purchased with any discount offer unless in stated specially for Gift Cards.

Unhappy or complaints:

Please note that we do not offer refunds on our services.

If you are unhappy in any way, please let us know within 48 hours.

Whilst complaints are rare, these can be made by emailing contact@evergreenhairandbeauty.com.

We will work with you to resolve the situation within a set time scale free of charge.

Business Interruptions:

In the case of us having to call and reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, family emergency, power cut, water issues, building events etc, every effort will be made to reschedule it for the same day or as soon as possible.

Running Late:

We will always try our best to accommodate you if you are running late for your appointment, however this is not always possible without impacting on other appointments.

In the event of a late arrival, more than 10 minutes we may need to adjust your treatment to avoid delaying the next client’s service. Where this is not possible for some treatments, we may need to reschedule all or part of your booking, and in this instance a cancellation charges of 50% will apply.

Skin test and Consultations:

  • Some treatments that we offer may require you to complete and sign a consultation form with medical information. This will be kept with your records.

  • Hair colouring and specific beauty services will require a skin test minimum 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • If the client has had a skin test, but not received a service within 6 months, a new skin test is required.

  • Patch tests do not guarantee that an allergic reaction will not occur.

  • Evergreen are not medically trained to identify infections. We reserve the right to decline treatment if there are any concerns to prevent cross-contamination. A doctor’s note is required to continue with the service.​

 

Zero Tolerance:​

We maintain a strict zero tolerance policy regarding abusive, threatening or discriminatory behaviour towards our staff or other clients. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful environment for both our team and customers.

Unacceptable behaviour includes, but is not limited to:

​

  • Verbal abuse, aggressive tone or threatening language.

  • Serious or persistent use of profanity or foul language.

  • Physical intimidation or violence.

  • Sexual harassment or inappropriate comments.

  • Racial, Religious or discriminatory remarks.

  • Harassment or bullying of staff member or other clients. â€‹

Any client who engages in such behaviour will be immediately asked to leave the salon. In serious cases, incidents will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

We value and respect our staff and will not tolerate any form of abuse or mistreatment. All team members have the right to work in a safe environment free from harassment or intimidation. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our valued clients in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
